DOC Appoints New Warden at Coffeewood Correctional Center
RICHMOND – Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) Director Gene Johnson announced today the appointment of Jeffrey N. Dillman as Warden of Coffeewood Correctional Center in Culpeper County, effective August 25, 2003.
“With his vast experience in all areas of corrections, Jeff is well known for his professionalism and leadership ability,” said Director Johnson. “I’m sure DOC employees around the state join me in congratulating him.”
Dillman began his career as a correctional counselor in Erie, PA. In 1995 he began his DOC career as a Probation and Parole Officer in Charlottesville. Dillman’s experience includes treatment program supervisor at Buckingham Correctional Center and Assistant Warden at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women. Most recently he has held the position of Health Service Administrator at Powhatan Correctional Center. Dillman received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Gannon University.
Opened in 1994, Coffeewood Correctional Center is a security Level 2 (medium low) male facility with an average daily inmate population of 1,180.
