Waitlist

The Virginia Model is a correctional model strategically designed to foster a culture of accountability, personal investment, and community by aligning meaningful incentives with consistent, effective sanctions. Adults incarcerated in the VADOC make choices that can improve or restrict their privileges. This waitlist reflects the order in which qualified inmates will be moved into a Virginia Model site when bedspace at an appropriate facility is available. Qualified inmates must be free of major convictions for the past 4 years and show no recent history of drug use, assaults, or safety threatening behaviors. If an inmate is removed from this list it is because they no longer meet the program qualifications. Inmates can apply for the program on the kiosk or during their annual review.
