Description
The purpose of the Canine Obedience Training program is to improve and increase inmate empathy and promote positive pro-social interactions. Inmates provide obedience training to dogs from an outside rescue agency to become well-behaved companion dogs.

Eligibility
Participants must not have any charges or convictions with cruelty to animals or children. Participants must be charge-free for one year in order to qualify to be a dog handler.
