Description
The Courage to Change Interactive Journaling System is an evidence-based, supervision/case management model developed in collaboration with several United States Probation Offices. This cognitive-behavioral interactive journaling system allows probationers to address their individual problem areas based on their criminogenic risk and needs assessment. The goal is to promote a positive behavior change which will result in probationers realizing the benefits of change as well as assist them to successfully reintegrate back into the community. Six (6) criminogenic need areas are addressed: Antisocial Values, Criminal Personality, Low Self-Control, Criminal Peers, Dysfunctional Family Ties, & Substance Use. The program can be facilitated individually and/or in group settings.

Probationers with criminogenic need areas such as Antisocial Values, Criminal Personality, Low Self-Control, Criminal Peers, Dysfunctional Family Ties, and Substance Use.
