Cognitive Program

  Description

  Inmates will learn the new skill of finger knitting, engage with others in their community, remain productive while providing a helpful service to others, and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities. Inmates will practice pro-social behaviors and expand cognitive skills and development, which will assist in readying them for eventual re-entry.

• 

  Length of Program

  Inmates currently participating in the SAM (Shared Allied Management) Unit, as well as members of the Good Living Unit (GLU) interested in a therapy-based community service project.
