Description
Students will learn how to cut and weld various metals with several different types of welding systems. They receive instruction in general shop, tool, and welding safety and the use of metal working tools. Students will learn to read blueprints and the proper way to layout projects to minimize waste. Areas of instruction include Oxy-Fuel Cutting, Plasma Arc cutting, Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc and Flux Core welding.
