VALORS

Under the Virginia Retirement System, VALORS employees are typically eligible to retire approximately 5 years earlier, with a higher retirement multiplier of 2% for qualified positions when they retire.  

Positions include Corrections Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captains, Major, Probation Officer, Probation Deputy Chief and Probation Chief.
