Mental Health Professionals
As a Mental Health Professional, you will address psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges in correctional settings. You will provide individual and group therapy, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans for incarcerated individuals with conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse. This role is in a high-security environment, working with inmates who have diverse needs, including severe mental illnesses and histories of trauma.
Qualification
- Training and experience in the treatment of mental disorders
- Demonstrated ability to develop intervention and treatment plans
- Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group counseling/therapy
- Considerable working knowledge of psychopathology, diagnostic nomenclature, psychological theory and ethical practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide training
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
