The Department of Corrections is committed to ensuring the safety of staff, inmates, and visitors. Fraternization and the introduction of contraband, drugs, or other illegal items into our facilities and offices threatens the safety and security for all. The Department will do what's necessary to hold to account those individuals (employees, contractors, visitors, and inmates) who violate the law and deter any future attempts to threaten the safety of everyone. This includes ensuring violators are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Recently, these former employees were terminated and charged with sex crimes against inmates or introducing or attempting to introduce drugs or contraband into our facilities.
