Cognitive Program

  Description

  Inmates raise and train puppies to approximately 15 months of age so that they meet the criteria for Saint Francis of Assisi service animals. The animals will then serve the handicapped and disabled. Inmates have weekly training from staff at Saint Francis of Assisi.

  Inmates who volunteer must be infraction free, housed in the Honor Dorm, and have experience with animals
